- Tomorrow is Bike to Work/School Day!May 6 is Bike to Work/School Day at Cal Poly Humboldt! Cyclists can stop by the Energizer Station between 7:30am - 9:30am that day for FREE coffee, juice, bagels, fruit, bike tune-ups, free u-locks with bike registration, and more! The Energizer Station will be set up outside the east entrance to SBS. And later that afternoon, join us for an all-abilities group bike ride! Anyone without a bike that wants to ride can use a bikeshare bike for free. 3:30-5pm, departs from the HGH bikeshare station.

- Hot Food Catering RequirementsDue to state fire marshal requirements, the use of sternos and open flame devices are no longer permitted on campus for indoor spaces. All caterers, including offsite caterers, cannot use sterno type products or open flame devices for heating hot food. For outside catered events, a State Fire Marshal permit is required for the use of sternos or open flame heating equipment. Our own campus catering, Humboldt Dining, has moved to alternate options for indoor heated catering. This includes heating packets as well as electric heaters.
