The Office of Research & Sponsored Programs is pleased to announce the 2025 CSU Student Research Competition. To apply, students must submit a written summary of their research or creative presentations to the Office of Research by Friday, January 31, 2025. Students may showcase recently completed or late-stage work for a chance to win $500!

Each month, they provide two editions - one with the latest updates on the program’s sustainability initiatives, and one with exciting upcoming events on campus related to conservation! Access exclusive resources on reducing your carbon footprint, energy-saving hacks, and sustainable lifestyle tips.

The Office of Research publishes four newsletters during the academic year; fall, winter, spring, and summer. These newsletters are used to highlight new awards, share what improvements our office is currently working on, update our researchers on any important changes that may affect their projects, and keep the campus community up to date with relevant grant news.  For the convenience of our PI's, we've archived our past issues, available here. 

During the annual First Generation College Student Celebration Week Nov. 4-8, 2024, join the Educational Opportunity Program, RAMP, Academic Advising Center, Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, and many other programs and departments for a week dedicated to celebrating, supporting, and uplifting Humboldt’s first-generation students! There will be educational workshops and fun activities geared towards first-generation students. You can participate in a sound bath, do some insightful artwork, learn about graduate programs and career opportunities, and much more!
