The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (SPF) would greatly appreciate your participation in a survey to better understand the faculty and staff experience working with SPF and grants in general. We are interested in learning more about the SPF services you find helpful and what you may find challenging about the grant process. Responses from this survey will be used to improve SPF services. The survey should take about 10 minutes. Sunday, November 24th is the last day to take the survey.

MLK Day of Service 2025
Cal Poly Humboldt students, staff and faculty, College of the Redwoods, and community members are invited to join Youth Educational Services for a morning of community service on Martin Luther King Jr. Day- Monday, January 20, 2025, from 8 a.m. to noon. This event will feature volunteer projects on campus and at community sites.

Student Fellowship Opportunity: 2025 McCrone Graduate Fellowship Award
Cal Poly Humboldt established the Alistair and Judith McCrone Graduate Fellowship Fund in October 2001. The fund was created to honor Dr. and Mrs. McCrone, who together supported Cal Poly Humboldt and its students for over a quarter of a century. Time Off: Unpaid Holiday and End-of-Year Vacation Accruals
As the end of the calendar year approaches, employees are encouraged to keep in mind guidelines for taking time off. Thanksgiving is on Thursday, November 28 this year and is a paid holiday. Pay Policy for Friday, Nov. 29 As published in the Green & Gold calendar, the campus will be closed Friday, November 29 (day after Thanksgiving), which is not a paid holiday. Employees taking this day off who are not academic-year faculty will need to use leave credits, CTO, or dock pay.
2025 CSU Student Research Competition
The Office of Research & Sponsored Programs is pleased to announce the 2025 CSU Student Research Competition. To apply, students must submit a written summary of their research or creative presentations to the Office of Research by Friday, January 31, 2025. Students may showcase recently completed or late-stage work for a chance to win $500!
