- Partial Closure for G11 Parking Lot and Rossow Street on SaturdayThe University will be hosting the U.S. Coast Guard at the G11 parking lot across from Student & Business Services on Saturday, April 20. Weather permitting, the Coast Guard is scheduled to land a helicopter in the parking lot at approximately 11 a.m. As a result, starting at midnight until early afternoon this Saturday, the eastern portion of the lot and Rossow Street (from Harpst Street to the Parking Kiosk in front of the Student & Business Services) will be closed to parking and traffic.

- Drone Filming April 15-16On Monday April 15th and Tuesday April 16th, a contractor will be filming the roofs of campus buildings as well as parking lots with a drone. Filming is scheduled for the north end of campus from Laurel Drive to Granite Ave on Monday, and Laurel Drive south to 14th Street on Tuesday. The Office of Risk Management & Safety Services has ensured that the pilot is experienced and certified and that all appropriate UAS and FAA rules have been followed. - Repaving 14th Street, between A and C streetsThe City of Arcata will be repaving sections of 14th street between A and C streets starting the week of April 15th. The City will set up traffic control with some minor detours to allow the continued flow of traffic. Parking will be impacted along 14th street during the duration of work. The work is weather dependent and the timing could possibly change. Thank you for your patience during this time.

- Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) Grant Program is Accepting Proposals for Academic Year 24/25The Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (ODEI) and the DEIA Grant Program Award Committee invite Cal Poly Humboldt students, student organizations, staff, and faculty to submit proposals for programs offered on campus that promote awareness and inclusivity of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility. The DEIA Grant Program has a typical award budget of $35,000 per year.* Awards are generally funded up to $5,000, although this may not always be the case. Request for Proposals (RFP)
