- Partial Closure for G11 Parking Lot and Rossow Street on SaturdayThe University will be hosting the U.S. Coast Guard at the G11 parking lot across from Student & Business Services on Saturday, April 20. Weather permitting, the Coast Guard is scheduled to land a helicopter in the parking lot at approximately 11 a.m. As a result, starting at midnight until early afternoon this Saturday, the eastern portion of the lot and Rossow Street (from Harpst Street to the Parking Kiosk in front of the Student & Business Services) will be closed to parking and traffic.

- Automatically see shared calendars associated with a Google Group when you join itWhen a someone joins a Google Group, they’ll now receive an email listing the shared calendars they can access as a result of their group membership—typically within an hour of joining. This will make it much easier for new team members and employees to discover relevant calendars and collaborate with their colleagues by sending emails, attending meetings, accessing documents, and more.

- Eighty Lumberjacks Named to the 2021-22 CCAA All-Academic TeamARCATA, Calif.---- Eighty Cal Poly Humboldt Lumberjack student-athletes were named to the 2021-22 California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Academic Team, as announced by the conference office this morning. These 80 students represent more than half of the students who participated in a CCAA sport this past year at Humboldt.
- Kinsey Laine Named First Ever Head Coach of Cal Poly Humboldt Women’s Triathlon ProgramCal Poly Humboldt Executive Director for Athletics and Campus Recreation Cooper Jones has announced the hiring of Kinsey Laine as the head coach of the Lumberjack Women’s Triathlon program. Laine will be the first head coach of the Jacks women’s triathlon team. She comes to Humboldt from Colorado Mesa University, where she has been the Head Triathlon and Assistant Swim Coach since January 2021.
