It has been very rewarding to see how Panopto, our lecture capture system and video editing platform, has been embraced by Cal Poly Humboldt. To continue this service, we need to reduce the hours stored on our system before we run out of space. Therefore, we would like to encourage all Panopto users to do a little Spring cleaning and delete those meeting recordings and other videos that are no longer needed.

Faculty still have time to switch from a traditional textbook to Cal Poly Humboldt's Immediate Access program. We are extending the deadline until May 22, 2026. If you've already adopted your Follett textbook for Fall 2026, you can easily change it to our successful digital and textbook Immediate Access program. The program provides:

Textbook on Reserves Program

The Panopto Cloud services are scheduled for essential database maintenance and enhancements on Sunday, March 22nd from 4:30 am - 7:30 am. These updates necessitate a period of downtime, which is projected to last up to 3 hours. During this maintenance window, access to videos on your Panopto site will be unavailable. Attempts to upload new content from recording clients will result in a "Server unable to connect" error message."
