The Office of Academic Affairs is hosting a “Rooted and Rising Together” Door & Bulletin Board Decorating Contest! Starting the week of March 23rd, we invite departments and organizations across campus to celebrate Cal Poly Humboldt’s Accreditation Reaffirmation by creatively showcasing how we are grounded in our values and community while rising together toward an innovative and impactful future.

Over the past few months, we’ve been reflecting on how you read and engage with this newsletter. To make it easier to share, save, and revisit, we are transitioning from a web-based format to a PDF version beginning this month. Campus engagement is essential to URPC’s enduring commitment to shared governance, transparency, and communication. Cal Poly Humboldt  is accepting nominations for its ninth annual Sustainability Champion Awards program, to recognize faculty, professional staff and students whose practices have deepened a culture of sustainability, have furthered the integration of sustainability into academics, student life or campus culture, and/or reduced Humboldt’s environmental footprint.

The campus community is warmly invited to attend the 27th Annual Latino Film Festival. The film festival begins tonight and runs through Wednesday night at the Minor Theatre in Arcata. All three nights are free to attend and open to everyone. Faculty and local community member panelists will discuss three films about immigration. Please see the flier for details!
