StartUp Humboldt Competition: Lightning Pitch Clinic
Got a million-dollar idea? StartUp Humboldt has launched a $200,000 business competition to support our community's innovators. Open to aspiring business owners and existing founders, this competition offers access to milestone-based funding, 1:1 mentorship and advanced entrepreneurial training.
The next free event, an interactive Lightning Pitch Clinic, is on Tuesday, November 18th, 5:30pm–7:30 pm at StartUp Humboldt in Arcata (876 7th Street).
Hosted by Wil Franklin of the North Coast SBDC and co-hosted by Rosa Dixon of Humboldt Made and Evan Van Auken of Scorch Marker, learn how to craft a clear, compelling pitch that captures attention and gets results.
Sharpen your story, practice your delivery and get instant feedback in a hands-on “pitch-speed-dating” session. Or, if you’re looking to join a team, hear others’ ideas and find the project that inspires you to get involved in the StartUp Humboldt Competition.
