The Learning Center has an new AI Policy
The Learning Center supports student success by fostering deep, lasting learning through active engagement, evidence-based strategies, and peer-to-peer collaboration. As generative AI becomes more integrated into education and the workplace, the Center views it as a tool to augment—not replace—human learning.
Our goal is to help students and peer educators build AI literacy, enabling them to think critically about AI use, make ethical decisions, and navigate diverse course policies.
The center's AI policy includes the following topics:
- Verification of Course AI Policy
- AI Literacy Education
- Transparency and Consent
- Privacy and Security
We are committed to preparing Humboldt students to use AI responsibly, ethically, and effectively, while keeping student learning, critical thinking, and academic integrity at the core. Please let us know if you have questions or feedback about our policy and services.
