You are encouraged to participate in this upcoming virtual convening TOMORROW, Tuesday 4/23, 9:00am.
Separate is Not Equal: Reflecting on the 70th Anniversary of Brown v Board of Education of Topeka, Kansas, 1954 and DEI in California
This virtual convening will begin with a national overview of how we came to our current circumstances by Dr. Tressie McMillan Cottom, noted sociologist and MacArthur Foundation “Genius Grant” fellow, and continues with an examination of equity and DEI in California. The webinar concludes with insights from everyday middle leaders on what the conversation means for us in our roles, and how we continue the work to overcome our nation’s legacy of educational equity gaps in an especially fraught national moment.
