Spring 2024 Commencement Staff Support
Spring 2024 Commencement is just around the corner! Staff play an important role in the success of our graduating students and we need more assistance. If you want to be involved on this special day, assignments may be available for you to perform a variety of Commencement-related activities.
There will be three on-campus ceremonies on Saturday, May 11:
9:00 AM | College of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences
12:00 PM | College of Natural Resources & Sciences
3:00 PM | College of Professional Studies
Staff are needed to support Commencement in either partial or full day shifts if possible. Those who are able to help are asked to make arrangements with their supervisor and complete the Spring 2024 Commencement: Staff Support Interest and Availability form by April 15.
The President has approved CTO, schedule adjustments, or overtime for current staff willing to help during the Commencement ceremonies on Saturday. Staff are asked to please check with their supervisors to ensure their willingness to support Commencement will not disrupt the operations of their unit and make adjustments as needed.
Past employees or community volunteers who would like to assist in Commencement should email grad@humboldt.edu with their interest.
Interested staff and volunteers will be accepted to assist during Commencement on a first-come basis with the final assignments being shared during the week of the event.
Supervisors and/or managers with any questions on how to administer CTO, schedule adjustments, or overtime for Commencement should contact the Human Resources Department.
The most up to date information regarding Commencement can always be found on the Commencement website. For any questions, please contact Shannon Collart, Commencement Coordinator, at grad@humboldt.edu.
Thank you for all you do to help our students reach this important milestone!
