Onsite Dental Service at Cal Poly Humboldt
We are excited to offer a great new benefit for all employees and their dependents! Jet Dental, a professional dental team, will be coming on site to provide comprehensive exams, cleanings, and x-rays.
Jet Dental works with all major dental insurance excluding Medicaid and Medicare. They will automatically bill your dental insurance provider directly after the appointment is completed. Most insurance policies include two free exams and cleaning benefits per year, and this counts as one of your two covered cleanings per year given by insurance. If you are uninsured the cost for a dental exam, x-rays, and a preventative cleaning is $150.
Please see the attached FAQs for further details. If you still have questions you can email benefits@humboldt.edu.
