Action Needed: Please Review Scholarship Materials for Outdated Academic Works Links
As you know, last month we announced to campus that Academic Works was being replaced with Scholarship Manager as our campus scholarship application portal. All of the links in Financial Aid and other key areas have been updated to direct students to the new Scholarship Manager application portal and we can see healthy activity as applications are flowing into the new system daily.
However, during our review of academic department websites this month we noticed links still directed to the old Academic Works scholarship site. With MARCOM’s assistance,we found and fixed the incorrect links on those websites. Also, many departments share scholarship information in PDFs, digital documents, and other materials that are not centrally managed.
ACTION ITEM: We ask that each department take a moment to review any scholarship-related documents your team maintains to ensure they no longer reference Academic Works and instead point students to the current system, Scholarship Manager.
Although there is no formal deadline, we are in the active scholarship application window for the 2026-27 academic year, so updating these materials now will help prevent confusion and ensure customers reach the correct application system. The correct link to the new Scholarship Manager application is here.
NEXT STEPS: For those who are an active committee member or user in the system, we do have a plan in place for onboarding, training, and providing user guides. We will have scheduled Zoom sessions in January and will send out invites accordingly. Please look for that information as we are ready to share it out and begin the process.
If you have questions or need guidance on identifying outdated links, we’re happy to help.
Thank you.
