Google Storage Limits are Changing

Dear Campus Community, Starting January 6, we’ll be setting a temporary limit of 150 GB per person on Google Drive storage to help manage space while we work on a long-term plan. This proactive step will help us stay within Google’s storage limits moving forward. Don’t worry, if you are over the 150 GB limit now we’ll give you a bit of extra space, ~10%, to keep everything running smoothly during this transition.

Dear Campus Community,

Starting January 6, we’ll be setting a temporary limit of 150 GB per person on Google Drive storage to help manage space while we work on a long-term plan.

This proactive step will help us stay within Google’s storage limits moving forward. Don’t worry, if you are over the 150 GB limit now we’ll give you a bit of extra space, ~10%, to keep everything running smoothly during this transition.

If your Google storage is currently over this limit, please start reviewing and deleting any files you don’t need from Google Drive, Google Photos, and Gmail. For simple steps to reduce your storage use, check out our Google FAQ page.
