Dear Campus Community, As of April 30th, the application period for the Voluntary Separation Incentive Program (VSIP) has officially closed.  Each of our 40 colleagues who have chosen to participate has unique ties to our campus and varying separation dates. Because participation in the VSIP is a personal choice, any individual announcements will be made at appropriate times in coordination with the participants and their supervisors. A comprehensive list of participants will not be published due to these individual coordination efforts.

The divisions of Enrollment Management & Student Success and Administrative Affairs are collaborating to lead a refinement effort that kicks off this week by soliciting your feedback.

Good afternoon, Some of you may have received notifications from your health insurance regarding the possible termination of the UC Health Systems contract with Blue Shield of CA. I would like to share with you the following message from CalPERS to alert members who might be impacted by this potential change if an agreement has not been reached by June 30, 2025. (Below)  

Summer is just around the corner! If you haven’t already begun submitting your Summer Bridge Student Appointments now is the time. Eligibility Undergraduates: Enrolled in at least 6 units for Fall 2025 Graduate students: Enrolled in at least 4.5 units for Fall 2025 Spring 2025 graduates may work one final summer Employment Period June 1 – July 30, 2025
