Update: Building Evacuation Drills March 2025
Building evacuation drills will be taking place around campus throughout the first week of March, the 3rd-7th. The schedule sent out earlier this morning will have a slight change where the Library will have its drill on Monday the 3rd at 9:50am instead of Wednesday.
These drills will be fairly quick. Please leave the building as soon as the alarm begins so that we can swiftly have you resume your activities. For more information please contact Risk Management at risk-management@humboldt.edu or check out our website for the full updated drill schedule.

- Emergency Procedures Training Requirement & Building Marshall Program UpdateDear Cal Poly Humboldt Staff and Faculty:
- Temporary 17th Street ClosureBeginning the morning of Friday, February 28, 2025 continuing through Sunday, March 2, 2025, the construction fencing along 17th street will be reconfigured to allow for the installation of the project tower crane. During this period there will be no through access for any vehicles. Authorized vehicles that need to access the parking lot between the Forestry and Natural Resources buildings should plan to enter from the east at the Wildlife Lane intersection. Pedestrian access should remain unimpeded.
- Building Evacuation Drills March 2025During the month of March we will continue with our yearly building evacuation drills which will take place throughout the week of the 3rd. Please find the schedule below. These drills will be fairly quick. Please leave the building as soon as the alarm begins and encourage those in your classrooms to do the same so that we may swiftly resume with your activities. If you do not see certain buildings on the schedule that is because the second half will take place the 3rd week of October.
