Procurement and Accounts Payable Integration
We are pleased to announce that the Contracts, Procurement and Accounts Payable offices are officially reintegrating to be more strategically aligned. We are confident that this change under the umbrella of Strategic Business Services, led by Tawny Fleming as the Executive Director, will strengthen collaboration, improve efficiency, and enhance support for the University’s purpose. This change will further support our continued rollout of CSUBUY procure-to-pay (P2P). By combining our teams, we’re better positioned to leverage the full capabilities of the system—providing a modern, end-to-end solution for purchasing, contracts, and payments. CSUBUY P2P helps us increase efficiency, strengthen compliance, and deliver more value to the university. This reunification brings together two teams whose work is deeply interconnected.
We are also delighted to introduce Erica Grey as the Interim Associate Director of Contracts, Procurement & Accounts Payable, who will lead this collaborative unit. Erica brings extensive experience in financial operations and a commitment to excellence in service, many will know Erica in her role as our Accounts Payable Manager over the last few years.
I want to thank Sarah Long, AVP for Financial Operations for her leadership with Accounts Payable and her continued collaborations across the Division and our University.
We look forward to the positive impact this merger will bring and thank you for your continued partnership as we move forward together.
