SHIFT grant proposals are now open! The Sustainable Humboldt Innovative Futures Trust (SHIFT) is a student fee generated fund that supports innovative, campus-based sustainability projects at Cal Poly Humboldt. Apply for funds and turn your idea into a lasting campus legacy!!
Eligibility & guidelines (at a glance):
- Applicants must be current students, staff, or faculty at Cal Poly Humboldt
- Projects must be campus-based, sustainability-focused, and benefit students
- Projects must be innovative
- A project may be funded a maximum of three times
- Projects should align to the SHIFT vision and values; read more at https://www.humboldt.edu/shift (middle of page)
- Student applicants must have a staff or faculty steward
- Funds are expected to be available near the end of Fall 2026
