Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) Grant Program is Accepting Proposals for Academic Year 24/25
The Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (ODEI) and the DEIA Grant Program Award Committee invite Cal Poly Humboldt students, student organizations, staff, and faculty to submit proposals for programs offered on campus that promote awareness and inclusivity of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility.
The DEIA Grant Program has a typical award budget of $35,000 per year.*
Awards are generally funded up to $5,000, although this may not always be the case.

Closes: April 22, 2024 @ 5PM
Proposals that advance diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility and/or help with the retention of underrepresented students and faculty will be prioritized.

- G14 & G15 Parking Lot Closure May 21On Tuesday, May 21, 2024, Pacific Gas and Electric Company is scheduled to conduct underground utility work in parking lots G14 and G15. This work will require complete closure of both parking lots from dawn to dusk. Please plan to park in an alternate location during this time. - Annual Fire Alarm Testing Schedule May 20-24Facilities Management has scheduled the following buildings for fire alarm testing May 20-May 24. Due to the large volume of fire alarms to be tested, some scheduling changes may occur. A schedule is provided below. Additional scheduling for remaining buildings to be tested June 3 - June 7 will follow.
- Part of Rossow Street to be Closed 5/15-5/16The contractor working at the Swetman Building will be conducting operations within the Rossow Street roadway on Wednesday (05/15/2024) and Thursday (05/16/2024). During this time both lanes of Rossow Street will be temporarily closed, from the intersection at Harpst Street to the parking area entrance south of the Swetman building. See attachment (approximate road closure area delineated in yellow).

- 2024 Annual Fire Alarm TestingFacilities Management has scheduled the annual required testing of the Building Fire Alarm Systems within all campus and housing buildings for May 20 -24 & June 3 - 7, 2024 from 6:00 am - 5:00 pm. During the testing of the fire alarms, technicians will be activating smoke detectors and pull stations throughout the building. At the end of the testing, there will be a final audible test of the bells and strobes. The bells will sound for approximately 15-30 minutes, depending on building size.
