CSSA Student Trustee Search 2026 - 2028
We are excited to share that the California State Student Association (CSSA) is now accepting applications for the CSU Student Trustee for the 2026-2028 term.
The Student Trustee serves on the CSU Board of Trustees, the governing body of the California State University system, and represents the voices, needs and perspectives of more than 480,000 CSU students. This role is a unique opportunity to influence systemwide decisions related to tuition, academic programs, student success, basic needs, equity, and the overall future of the CSU.
Students selected for this role will:
- Participate in CSU Board of Trustees meetings
- Engage with system leaders on policy and budget priorities
- Serve as a key voice in shared governance
The application deadline is Monday January 26, 2026 by 5 p.m. PT.
We strongly encourage students who are passionate about advocacy, leadership and improving the CSU to apply. Students from all majors, backgrounds, and campuses are welcome to apply.
