2024 CSU Startup Launch Competition
Local Pitch Competition: Tuesday, April 9th, 5:30-7:00 pm in in Siemens Hall (SH) 108
CSU-wide Competition: May 2-3, 2024 at CSU Dominguez Hills in Carson, CA
Award: Up to $35,000 in Startup Funds
The Office of Research & Sponsored Programs is pleased to announce Cal Poly Humboldt’s participation in the 2024 Sunstone CSU Startup Launch Competition! The competition is a partnership between the CSU system and Sunstone Management, an international investment firm based in Southern California, designed to showcase the entrepreneurial strength of CSU students and programs by awarding seed funding to innovative startups.
With Cal Poly Humboldt’s local pitch competition, two teams will be selected to represent the university and compete against other CSU teams at CSU Dominguez Hills on May 2-3, 2024. Please come to the local pitch competition event prepared to pitch your business concept in 3-5 minutes. The time limit will be strictly enforced. Slide decks, prototypes, or other presentation aids are encouraged but not required. Mentorship and support will be provided for selected teams.
