Cabinet and OAA Participate in Equity Workshops

The President's Executive Cabinet and leadership from the office of Academic Affairs (OAA) took part in part one of a two-part workshop, designed to provide an understanding of the concept of whiteness and how microaggressions are a manifestation of whiteness. Participants develop an understanding of the experience of our students, faculty, and staff of color and discuss/reflect on ways to enact change in their personal and professional lives.

While the workshop will focus on race and racism, participants learn how to apply the concepts to other social identities and the intersectionality of people's identities.
