Support Our Students - Donate to the Oh SNAP! Food Pantry
Cal Poly Humboldt’s Oh SNAP! Student Food Programs is joining forces with Food For People, Humboldt County’s regional food bank, to collect non-perishable food donations for their Holiday Food Drive. This effort directly supports students experiencing food insecurity.
All food donated on campus will go directly to the Oh SNAP! Food Pantry, ensuring that students have access to fresh, nutritious, and culturally appropriate food during the semester and throughout finals.
Please consider contributing non-perishable items at any campus food collection bin from Monday, Dec.1, through Friday, Jan. 2, at the following locations (campus map):
- Gutswurrak Student Activities Center
- Kinesiology & Athletics Building
- Siemens Hall
- Student & Business Services Building
- University Library
Food donations will also be collected during the staff and faculty holiday party on Friday, December 12. Bins will remain in place through the end of the calendar year to continue raising food donations for the Oh SNAP! Food Pantry.
The Athletics department is also hosting its annual holiday food drive, with teams competing against one another—and against conference rivals—to collect the most donations. Look for their collection boxes in the Kinesiology & Athletics Building. Support your favorite teams and root for your Lumberjacks while helping feed students.
