You're Invited! Director of CCBL (2nd) Candidate Open Forum
CCBL Director Candidate Open Forum: Thursday, February 1st, 9:30-10:30am, in LIB 317 (the Glass Classroom)
The search committee invites you to attend the open forums for candidates for the directorship of the Center for Community-Based Learning (CCBL), the second of these candidate forums is occurring on February 1st.
Candidate Emily Worm will offer a short presentation followed by time for questions. The prompt for the open forums is, “How will you inspire and motivate our constituencies—administration, faculty, students, community partners—to engage in community-based learning?”
Reporting to the AVP of Academic Programs, the director oversees all facets of CCBL program development and management, including strategic planning, initiatives, and development of community-based learning practices grounded in a commitment to diversity, equity, and social and environmental justice. The CCBL plays a vital role in the promotion and coordination of service learning, academic internships, and other community- and civic-engagement practices here at Cal Poly Humboldt.
We will be grateful to all who can attend and offer feedback to assist us in making our selection.
This forum is open to all campus, students, faculty and all staff.
