Alumni in Government Career Panel - April 10
The Department of Politics presents the 19th annual Victor T. Schaub Memorial Lecture - "Alumni in Government Career Panel" - on Monday, April 10, from 5-6:15 p.m. in Founders Hall 232. Snacks and drinks provided. Featuring:
- Joey Apodaca ('07), Deputy Director for Rep. Ted Lieu
- Rosemary Deck ('14), Chief Prosecutor at Yurok Tribe
- Kyle Knopp ('05), Rio Dell City Manager
- Robin Praszker ('14), Eureka Environmental Project Manager
- Steven Steward ('01), Humboldt County Superior Court Judge
The lecture series' namesake, Victor Schaub, was an Arcata civil attorney and professional mediator who was elected to the City Council in 1988 and served two terms, until 1996. He served as mayor from 1990-95. Victor died in 2004 at the age of 60, and the Victor Schaub Memorial Lecture series was established in his honor.

- Google Drive Quotas - coming July 1, 2025Dear Faculty and Staff, In response to Google imposing data storage limitations on our campus, Cal Poly Humboldt is implementing updated storage quotas for all faculty, staff, and student accounts. After collaboration with a variety of campus groups and advisory committees, ITS will be implementing the following quotas on July 1, 2025. The most notable aspect of this proposed quota system is that current faculty and staff will not be required to further reduce their Google storage usage.
