- Reminder: Incentives Program for Faculty Research Grant DevelopmentThe application deadline is coming up in January for the Incentives Program, which provides time, compensation, and support for developing a full proposal for external funding. Apply for assigned time funding for the fall 2026 and spring 2027 semesters, or summer salary for summer 2026. Note: if you need assistance finding funding, keep in mind that our office is closed between December 24th and January 1st. - Department Name Change to the Department of Mathematics and Data ScienceThe Department of Mathemetics has formally changed their name to the Department of Mathematics & Data Science. This name change is supported by the College of Natural Resources and Sciences and department faculty, and was approved by the University Senate on October 14, 2025.
