The Office of Research & Sponsored Programs Foundation is pleased to invite you to Cal Poly Humboldt's 2025 McCrone Award Reception! The McCrone award recognizes Humboldt’s junior faculty, acknowledges their potential in their field of research, and encourages their continued achievement. In addition, the Alistair and Judith McCrone Graduate Fellowship Award is given to one Cal Poly Humboldt graduate student to support their research.

2025 Awardees:

• Dr. Allison Bronson (Biological Sciences) - "Ears Across Eras: Evolution of shark inner ear anatomy"

• Dr. Alana Chin (Biological Sciences)  - “How trees work”

• Dr. Caglar Dolek (Sociology) - "Police Power and Popular Resistance: Tales from the Margin"

• Yaneyry Delfin Martinez (Graduate Student, Sociology) -  “Living in Liminality: Navigating Academic Barriers and Building Support For and By Undocumented Students”
