“Tea and Talk” 4/30 @ FH 166 -CORRECTED FLIER-
Dear Faculty and Staff,
**Please note that the previous flyer for the upcoming "Tea & Talk" listed an incorrect location. The attached flier reflects the correct location.**
You're invited to join us for the next "Tea & Talk" listening circle on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, from 2 pm to 3 pm at the Green and Gold Room (FH166).
Hosted by the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (ODEI), in collaboration with Human Resources, Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS), Academic Personnel Services (APS), and Staff Council, this special session commemorates the one-year anniversary of last year’s campus protest. It is intended as a reflective space to acknowledge the protest’s impact and honor our campus community’s continued journey toward healing.
The timing of this session—2 to 3 p.m.—is intentionally embedded within the workday to reflect institutional support for employee participation and well-being.
The session will open with a group welcome, introducing the circle’s purpose and shared agreements. Tea & Talk circles offer a regular space for faculty and staff to engage in open dialogue, deep listening, and mutual respect. Guided by the spirit of “tea” as a metaphor for open, honest, and respectful dialogue, these gatherings are not recorded, and no notes are taken, fostering a confidential and trusting environment.
Tea, coffee, hot cocoa, and snacks will be provided.
We look forward to sharing this space—and a cup of tea—with you.
We look forward to sharing this space and tea with you.
Best regards,
Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (ODEI)
