Funding Opportunity: Conservation Grant Program - Sequoia Park Zoo
Sequoia Park Zoo - Conservation Grant Program
Pre-proposal Deadline: Sunday, November 2, 2025
Amount: Up to $3,000
About: The Sequoia Park Zoo Advisory Group’s Conservation Council is accepting pre-proposals for its fourteenth annual Conservation Grant Program. Pre-proposals must have a clear, measurable impact on the conservation of wildlife and/or habitats. If approved, applicants will receive a link via email to submit a full proposal.
Appropriate projects include proposals for research and/or the implementation of a conservation management plan (including habitat restoration). Proposals for workshops, public education, or non-applied research are considered to have indirect conservation impacts unless otherwise justified.
Qualifying conservation preproposals will be reviewed with special consideration given to projects that are local, in line with the Zoo’s conservation goals, and/or focused on species represented at the Zoo.
APPLY: For more details and to apply, please visit the Conservation Fund program page.
NOTE: If you are interested in applying or have any questions, please contact our Pre-Award Specialists Pia Gabriel at pg12@humboldt.edu, Kaz Wegmuller at kaz.wegmuller@humboldt.edu, or Jocelyne Takatsuno at jt366@humboldt.edu ASAP.
