Academic Policy Committee Listening Session on Draft Revision to the Procedure for Discontinuance of an Academic Program
The Academic Policy Committee invites you to give input during our first listening session on the draft revision to the Procedure for Discontinuance of an Academic Program.
The purpose of this session is to gather feedback from the campus community on our draft procedure as we work toward a transparent process that embraces shared governance. Your input at this stage will help us refine the document before bringing it forward to the Senate.
This is the first of at least two listening sessions we will hold. A second session will be scheduled early in the spring semester to ensure broad participation and continued dialogue on this important topic.
First Listening Session Details: Wednesday, December 10, 2:00-3:00 PM Via Zoom: Zoom LInk
The draft procedure is available here. We encourage you to review it before the session, though we welcome participation regardless.
We recognize that program discontinuance is a challenging topic that affects our entire campus community. Your perspectives are essential to developing a procedure that serves Cal Poly Humboldt well.
