Stitch-Craft Magic Makerspace MeetUp
Library 205 - Makerspace Wednesday, May 1, 2024, 5 – 7pm Learn to knit or crochet or work on your own projects. Some materials are provided to help you get started including yarn samples, hooks, and needles. Bringing your own supplies is also encouraged. MeetUps are drop-in sessions with a theme to inspire your creativity and build community with fellow makers. Come for a little bit or stay the entire time. Work on your own project or try something new with the group. All are welcome no matter your level of experience or knowledge. We're here to learn with each other in a low-stakes and collaborative environment. Weekly Makespace MeetUps Schedule for Spring 2024: M - Sew Easy!, 2-4pm T - Video Game Design, 1-3pm W - Stitch-Craft Magic, 5-7pm F - Fix-it Friday, 1-3pm F - Photo Equipment/Skills, 3-5pm - Library 120 (Makerspace Studio on the 1st floor). All MeetUps are scheduled through the week before finals week (except for Spring Break, March 11-15th, and Friday, May 3rd). Campus Update on Commencement and Dining Access
April 30, 2024 - 7:56pmCal Poly Humboldt will hold a modified in-person Commencement with local ceremonies on Saturday, May 11, 2024. More details will be announced later this week.
All students who have a meal plan, including those who live off campus, are free to use The J, College Creek Marketplace, and the Cupboard dining facilities, which will continue to operate during their regular business hours.
With the hard closure of campus in place, no one is allowed to walk through the center of campus. To access Dining facilities, students must walk down LK Wood to Granite Avenue and back. Housing residents are free to leave and return to campus.
