Based on Arnold Lobel's beloved children's books, it features a jazzy, upbeat score by Robert and Willie Reale. This whimsical musical follows two great friends, the cheerful Frog and the curmudgeonly Toad, through four fun-filled seasons. They meet new friends like Man Bird, Lady Bird, Turtle, Squirrel, and more. As they wake from hibernation in the spring, Frog and Toad plant gardens, swim, rake leaves, go sledding, and learn valuable life lessons. She has won IBMA’s Mandolin Player of the Year six times, the first woman to do so. A pioneer in acoustic music, Hull has performed at iconic venues like Carnegie Hall, the Grand Ole Opry, and the White House. Her virtuosity has earned admiration from legends like Alison Krauss, Sturgill Simpson, and Dolly Parton. Originally from Byrdstown, Tennessee, her unique sound is rooted in bluegrass, making her one of acoustic music’s most inventive artists.
